Mix 3/4 cup of bird seed (any outdoor bird seed will work) with 2 tbsp of flour and 2 tbsp of water.
Then fill the inside of a cookie cutter with the bird seed mixture, squish it down and then remove cookie cutter. We used circle shaped ones but you can use any shape of cookie cutter.
Next cut up a regular drinking straw into smaller pieces and insert into your bird treat making sure it is not too close to the edge. This will become your hole to string your ribbon through. Bake treats at 170F for 1 hour. Once cool you can remove the straw and pull through your ribbon or string and hang them outside.
